Yea i got a 95 pontiac gran prix with a 3.1 liter. I like to mess around with old muscle cars and trucks and i was wanting a sleeper car. I was told i could put a super charger on it is this possible to do? How much would one cost and where could i get them at? I was also wondering since the 3.1 already has intake manifold problems if i should even put one on? Help me out

There isn't any 3.1 that was superchanged. Only the 3800. Only custom setups are made for the 3100 and 3.1 that was on GP till 94. None were stealth. Theres a guy Named Mars that has a Rotex (Vortech style supercharger) thats hidden away.
Unless your bud is confused with the Turbochaged 3.1 in the 89-90 turbo Grand Prix and STE.88 Beretta GTU turbo . 90 Black ASC/McLaren TGP, awaiting 4t80. 2003 Grand AM se 3400/4t45 daily grind.

RSM made a s/c kit for the 3100 Grand Ams... you can adapt it to your car. You can also build a custom turbo kit like myself and others. a Roots/twin screw won't fit under your stock hood. The vortec kits by rsm are. custom turbo is the easy/cheap way to boost your car.

here is a turbo setup someone here made. you would also need a downpipe. and boost pipes, ect... not hard. and on ~5psi boost you can run a 255lph walbro/holly pump and a FMU.
