The easiest turbo is a remote mount where the turbo goes where the muffler usually sits. Any reasonably good muffler shop can help mount it. The hardest part is routing the oil lines and intake tubing back to the engine and then tuning it.
As for superchargers, occasionally a z-spec/rsm vortech kit shows up on our buy/sell/trade section. I think the last one sold for $1900. Ever-so-rarely, one of the 18 magnacharger kits will show up too but they usually don't go for less than $3000.1995 Grand Am SE

I forget his name but he drives a Z24 with a remote mount turbo and a 3400, usted to be a 2.8 remote mount, anywho, he used a self contained oil supply for the turbo using a high pressure pump and a resivoir for the oil return.88 Beretta GTU turbo . 90 Black ASC/McLaren TGP, awaiting 4t80. 2003 Grand AM se 3400/4t45 daily grind.

^^^ That is how I would do a RMT if I ever did one. I was wondering if anyone had tried that before. I don't trust my engines blood going all the way to the rear of the car and back again. I'd rather have just the turbo die if the electric pump gives out.sigpic New 2010 project (click image)

That build does not use a self contained oil system for the Turbo. That routes it back to the engine...sigpic New 2010 project (click image)
