well it really depends on your tune. if you have enough fuel and a proper tune i have seen 15psi or more on stock engines (all different types). Alot of variables. if you have a good pump, injectors and a tune then you can tune it for alot of different boost levels. Also you have to know there your turbo starts loosing efficency. If your turn up the boost you may just be creating excess heat and lose power. My old TGP ran 10psi on the 3.1mpfi and i think that was just about taped out with that turbo and fuel system. A T25 is awful small for that motor, not saying you can't make good power or have a REALLY fun street car, i wouldnt go crazy on the boost, 5-10psi is about all i would run on that turbo.

I know that doesn't really answer your question but there are ALOT of variables to consider. Its kinda hard to answer....

stock 3100s and 3400 can only handle about 8psi safely even on a proper tune. There are a few that can get 10psi to hold but its only a matter of time before it destroys pistons #5 and #6

#5 and #6 go 1st because they are the closest to TB and get fed the most air and lean out or why?

That is one theory as they seem to have the highest temps, and that's why I guess GM on the LX9 3500 put oil squirters on just those 2 pistons. Also those tend to have piston slap and scuff on there on most motors it seems. But the 3500 doesn't open up the air to the 5 & 6, it opens up in the center of the plenum. So the thinking is probably that side of the block is the hottest.

5 and 6 are the last in line to get cooled by the coolant. By that time the coolant is already pretty hot compared to when it get near the others. Thus the oil squirters on the 3500 for just those two cyl

might sound dumb, but in the l67 crowd, they skew the injector table for 3 and 4. Or with the zzp plog, skew the front bank.
