  • 2.2L turbo manifold?

    Does anyone know if they make a 2.2L chevy turbo manifold? A buddy of mine has a turbo already and he has a 2.2L 1992 Cavalier. He wasnts to put the turbo on it and go stealth. Idk. its kindof wierd but hey what can you do. Let me know how much and where. Thanks!

      Huh. Thought I'd heard it all. Turbo 2.2 Cavalier. Godspeed to your friend, but tell him the internet doesn't really recommend that. Enjoy your busted crank.

      Quick edit: The reason I say this is because the 2200 is a spiritual successor to the Iron Duke, and was made with economy in mind, not performance. There is anecdotal evidence of Fiero guys, way back when, putting turbos on their Dukes, and there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth when the cranks exited the block.
