It's great to see young guys involved in something worthwhile, gives me hope for the future. That GT looks exceptionally clean[at least in the pic],keep the pics coming. What turbo did you use?

The drain is going to my oil pan. If thats the drain your referring too. I guess the only drain on the setup so yeah the oil pan from the turbo.

Yes, the oil drain. I guess I'm just having trouble visualizing where it is.

I don't like your wastegate placement as its only feeding from one bank of cylinders which is not a good design. you could see boost spikes and the inability to control boost. Not to mention loss of power.

Also I don't like the SSAC turbo. Or XSPower or wahtever the cheap ebay company is now a days. I doubt it will last but I guess it will work for at least a mock up turbo. I would definately look at upgrading though to a better turbo with a larger trim when that one goes out.

Other then that it looks good.

Shaun41178, so where do you have your wastegate? What turbo are you running?

Do be so concerned with the ebay turbo. I have one and another member here put over 70k on his. The major thing about them is the false advertising on the trims. If you bought the 57 trim (they all say 57 on ebay), it's actually measured to be a 46 trim. They are good for about 350-400hp depending on the VE of your engine.

I didn't get it on ebay. I got it from a guy in Cali. They make their own turbos. I'm not worried at all about it. Just happy to ave it up and running... strong. still wanna know where shaun has his wastegate and what turbo he is running.

My wastegate placement collects gasses from all 6 cylinders without backfeeding into the header like yours does. With yours its only able to efficiently dump exhaust from 2 cylinders while the exhaust from all the other cylinders are going to feed back toward the wastegate in the opposite direction they should be flowing killing power, efficiency and flow. Horrible design

Also I am running a Precision SC6152E turbo. Not from "some guy in Cali" Its obvious yours is an ebay special turbo. It looks just like all the others. What did you pay $250 for it?

                        regards

Well shes fast and I havent had any "peaking" boost. Runs strong. Not sure what your talking about with peaking boost cause its not happening on this setup. I'll post a video here in a week and you can tell me what you think about it

if mid 14's is fast then ok its fast.

Boost creep/spike isn't too far off. enjoy it for now.

                              looks really good!

I would suggest using t-bolt clamps, but other than that awesome!
