i'd do it in my driveway but its 150 foot long and 100% gravel, so i think i'll stick it in my garage.

how long did it take to fab the piping?

Couple of days of actual working probably. I have four kids and a construction company so time is a high commodity here.

My garage is packed with tools so only the welding was done in there on my bench.

my bench is loaded with 20 year old auto paint and broken tools... lucky me because i have a bunch of 2x4 and particle board lying around.

i'll have to make sure my other vehicles are working properly to use as daily drivers, in case i need to go the hardware/auto store for something i don't have.

Boostedrs has over 80k miles on his. Just stay away from the turbos with blue or black tags.

How old are the threads you are reading? jyturbo had some problems with his, but the general consencus says they are a good "bang for your buck".

Also pay attention to who says this stuff and if they actually are using a turbo .

this housing looks identical to what they were talking about and that was mid-2006 so thats about a year old. that and maybe boosted got one of those rare turbos that don't die in two days

no manufacturer name(which tells me its a turboXS) and i don't know where the tag would be

Kumho Esta..the ebay one is smaller..turbine on both are A/R .63 compressor is A/R .50 on the Ebay one and A/R .60 on the garrett..if they ebay one is really that size i dunno but it did work fine for my setup..bought the new one thinking the old one was shot but it wasnt........so now i have to find a new toy to install the old one on..lol..my ebay one was also used for about 8 months..started to leak alittle oil a few months after but at this point im not sure if it was the seals or an oilling issue (im leaning towards oilling) but hey..for a piece of shit 300 dollar turbo it made me happy for a few passes down the track..it outlasted my stock 130k valve springs

that turbo from speedyracer is a true t61,i can give u links to guys running them on supras making 650 ish hp on 3.0L engines
many ppl use those turbos with 0 problems, the reason that garret/ and ebay t3/t4 dont match up is cause a 60 trim wheel is alot larger.
i also took apart my turbo one more time and measured the compressor wheel and came up with 50 trim not 46, the ex wheel came up as a true t3 stage 3 wheel as well.
btw ebay turbos are copys of masterpower turbos, so a map for a mp turbo is generally right

loaner666 what are u doing with hat ebay turbo wanna sell it?

With lag, yes. Not a bad thing when you take into consideration you have FWD. .
