Turbo recomendations

I'm looking to replace my worn 60-1 .63a/r housing turbo with something else. It's on a 3400sfi with ls6 springs in a Fiero. I think I want to upgrade to an .82a/r exhaust housing. Possibly dropping to a 50trim for space reasons... I was also considering a holset hx35. I know the stock cummins ones come with a 12cm housing, which is close to a .82. I will be running between 10-14psi hoping for 350-400whp. Thanks for all your suggestions... later

Its been less than 24hrs... not everyone visits the site multiple times a day. Give it a couple days...

Why not have it rebuilt? You should be able to swap to a T04E or T04B compressor housing and the larger turbine housing at the same time. Problem solved.

i don't know if it's worth the $$ for a new chra, and then the housings on top of it. unless you know something that I don't?!

It may be cheaper to buy a new one. You will need to call somebody like Precision Turbo to ask.

cool, thanks guys... I just picked up a turbonetics 60trim. still a .63 a/r exhaust housing, so maybe I'll upgrade that.
