well i know that alot of the companies that sell sts turbos are good places to get custom work like TRT(texas rear turbo), they will do custom work for anything, including my GA when i do it

What are you using for tuning? I'm still researching how I want to tune my car. I ran a FMU on my crx and it didn run great but it seems like alot of people are having good luck with these units on the GM v6 motors, or at least better than hondas. People are also telling me to run megasquirt but I'm not a fan of that either.

loner666: I might of asked the same question as turboberetta before, but yeah what are you running for tuning? and what year is your corsica?

TurboBeretta: A lot of people running boost on 660 gm motors are using the old memcal computers with modified turbo grand prix code. A few are ODBII and using a power tuner/DHP to reflash the ecm. I think 89jyturbo is the only one who is running a turbo with just a FMU alone. If your beretta is 93 or older, you can get a burned memcal or burn your own with code. Check out www.v6z24.com a lot of those guys are running turbo 3400 swaps.

My beretta is a 94. ODB1.5 bastard untuneable ecm. :P

I have a 88 2.8 which is OBD1, so I just have to find the correct bin file? I have a 28-32 pin chip burner that I use for my crx. Is there anything else needed besides for the tgp tune. Also is there a different harness or anything I have to run?. Thanks for ur help

The FMU's seem to work well for up to 8 psi or so. After that, other tuning methods are necessary. I have used Split Second's FTC1 with 42.5 lb/hr injectors to replace my old FMU. It runs better off idle and worse at idle (no computer tuning). There are a bunch of piggybacks that can be used to trick the ECU into providing the right fueling. Some of the piggybacks will even drive the injectors themselves.

My air filter is in the fender. Without a fender liner, I couldn't drive in the rain. With a fender liner, a monsoon wouldn't be an issue.
