Took my Fiero to the 1/4 mile this weekend (only one 1/4 mile event/year around here) and it really surprised me.
The first run was a 14.4, then a 14.1, then a 13.6 @ 102MPH!
I wasn't driving it as I was racing my Firebird but I am really excited about the times.
It's a 3500 with 65mm TB, stock 3500 injectors, stock motor, my own tune, and a 75hp shot of N2O. The 14.4 time was using nitrous in 3rd and 4th and the 14.1 and 13.6 were done with N2O in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
I'm also really excited to know that my stock Fiero 4 speed clutch (the one that was in the car when I bought it) still isn't slipping. I was half expecting to go home with a slipping clutch.
It seems sad that my LT1/T56 89 Firebird only got a 13.5 with 4.11 gears. Really makes me want to build a turbo 3500 for that car.
