I would imagine it would be an epic fail like the neon. or a really great hook up. nothing else.
i'd like to see an air bag that you stick in your spring strut assembally for that purpous. just like an air spring but hollow in the middle. you guys should be able to setup a air spring no problem for cheap in the j bodys...

Mars Man uses airbags on his SCS 3400 and runs low 12's. I always wondered if you got air shocks and aired up the rear end as high as it would go what would happen..
I saw a riced out 93 2 door cavalier with the rear end jacked up to high heaven with air shocks and a huge ass wing on it at walmart last summer... LOL

regardless of stiff springs, and redusing squat, but to load all the weight on the front tires... kinda like this kid did... if worked for him, look at that traction!

Yes, I have thought of it. And no, they are not a waste of time. IF your rear end is squating, which Eric's does, then they are useful. They are commonplace in the Grand National world, and there is a reason for it.
But if you already have super stiff springs in the rear end, they are obviously not going to help very much.

Not quite, lol.
Thats my car that ran 12.52. Turbo 3500.
Eric is hoping to run a low 13 this year with his new combo, still N/A.

Let me add to this wall!
I am determined to see mid 12's this year. If Asylum is running 12.50 in a NA 3500 I should be able to catch him.
That is a NA 3500 right? No N20? blowers or other power adders?
I wasn't going to kill myself to work on her this year for money reasons, But I'll break my backside to see 12's by the next 60 degree meet and run next to asylum. I'll be happy to be close, i don't need to beat him!

is that thing street driven? If so, I'll keep an eye out for it. I'm just in the outskirts of hamilton (mount hope/ancaster area).
Congrats on the time.

I got to line up against that guy !
I'm re-starting my tune next year wil larger injectors on code $59, it's got auto-tune features, ect just a wicked program from what I can see.
I made 381 HP to the tires on the weekend. It was fun ! Drove my car 300 miles to the dyno as well.
