airbags got from amazon. Airlift 60789 is for 2nd gen cavaliers and i think it'll fit all berettas, not sure 100%.
no headers, but i am running 2 3500 front manifolds, with 2" downpipes to 2.5" exhaust. those runs were on a kinked 2.25" exh, hopefully the 2.5" will help some. maybe headers next year, not sure.
mars, you just did the one side of the fitting on the slave? i'll look at doing the master side too, if it comes apart.... need to find a spare to mess with though. i'm not tearing apart my daily driver.

I only did the one end, yeah. At first I couldn't tell if it helped or not, but I am pretty sure it makes a difference. I would try it if I was you.
edit. i only did the straight fitting (MASTER end) you'll see you try to slap a 1/8" drill bit in there and it dont want to go.
think i might have gone a bit overkill on mine and went with like 9/64 or 5/32 I forget. haha, try to get it bigger though.
As for the other end with the 90* bend, it's already quite large in diameter, I dont think i touched the 90* fitting.Last edited by Mars; 08-30-2009, 11:22 PM.11.92 @ 122 MPH 3400 91 Cavalier Z24 Intercooled S/C. -totalled-

Not to take this thread farther off topic but how long is the slave hose and what does it look like? Are the ends straight or does it require a tight 90degree turn?
Dave... did you see the SS AN-3~pinlock fittings at the 60V6 meet? We use them to adapt GM slaves to MG masters. They may help with clutch engagement speed on your application.

I think Dave got one of the sets as well. I've been meaning to ask you (I always remember when not at a pc, and never remember when I am), is the hole in those fittings the same as or larger then stock? Any ideas where I could get some AN-3 SS braid hose for mine?-60v6's 2nd Jon M.

Would you need stainless or can you use that rubber high pressure stuff as used on say a forklift, or a hyd. rock drill, or similar machine?11.92 @ 122 MPH 3400 91 Cavalier Z24 Intercooled S/C. -totalled-

Well air brake hose held up over time on the 91- not counting the time it popped off on me. I wouldn't mind stainless because it would help my bay look a little nicer, so to me if it were $10 more for stainless, I probably would get it. Besides, it would help with abrasion resistance if it were to rub on something before I noticed it.-60v6's 2nd Jon M.

airbags: yes they help eliminate squat a lot. i've run them around 30psi and it still has a little give but it doesn't just unload the front tires. they completely eliminated my wheel hop as well.
i've seen those pinlock fittings and considered trying something out with them. might just give them a try if drilling the fittings out doesn't work well enough.
