      yes both runs were redlights

first run by .2xx and the second run by .4xx
my rear brakes are worn out so im having trouble holding the car on the line and was actually pushing threw the lights. ill have new brake shoes on the rear before nextime out

also that second pass was against my friend paul we had planed that big headstart that gn he has can go into the 9's but he dosent have the cage for it so he keeps it right around mid to low 10's

Regardless, track conditions are track conditions

Still wish we would see that kind of weather here, even if it were at night.

ur right but it was to cool actually,(great air temps but bad track temps) once temps get below say 72 the track just gets to cold and its hard to hook the car spun both runs cause of that.
not to mention i have 28x10.5x15 slicks mounted on 15x8 rims

normally 15 psi would be good for those slicks but due to the fact of the narrow rim i was only getting contact on about the middle 7-8 inches of the tire which im sure had alot to do with it. but most of the ppl running that night had a hard time hooking next time out i will drop the slicks down to 12 psi and see if they hook better

i would but i dont even remeber my old user name i thought it was boosted89rs but when i tried to login with it it didnt work

Hey you're my hero man!! That's awesome! Really enjoyed the video and would definitely like find out more about your car and setup.

What do you have done to your motor? What type of turbo setup are you running?

Heh I was gonna be happy getting into the 14's with V6 and some work but this would be worth it...

You can be in the 14's with your 3.4 and no boost if you have the car set up properly

Dave will be living up to his old UN on TGO soon (with proof this time, I'm sure )

Davem you really need to dyno that thing, even if it's just for shits and giggles.

How about an in-car video of the guages, that would be teh shiznit.

You honestly think it could go 14's naturally aspirated?? Actually I'm hoping to get a base chassis dyno run done and that could give me an idea till I get to the track. Just curious what the 3.4's actually do, well with a few ad-ons.
Then I'm hoping the posi and 4.11's will make a difference over the open 3.42's. Remember I'm also running a 27"+ tall tire so I need the gears to get out of the hole... Also should be great for driving around the city with OD lockup.

incar video is hard ive tried it camera bounces around to much and makes for hell trying to read the quages

i see no reason to dyno the car now now that i have the wideband tunning this thing is so much easier,i was really going to the dyno just for the wideband since 100 bucks beat 350 bucks as far as price.

though once i get this thing back to 11.7-1afrs under boost i may hit the dynop to play around witht he ign timing to squeeze some more out of it.but i prolly wont do that until i put the large turbo on the car.

i had a t74 on the car for 2 days and the difference in power is unreal but i had a friend helping me one day and we yanked the turbo and put it back on not relizing a lock washer had fallin into the header. first time we hit boost the washer got shot threw the turbine destroying the wheel.this is why im back on the hybrid turbo.

with that said the t74 was to much turbo for the car did it make a shitload more power yes, but i bet you 1/4 mile runs would be inthe mid 12sec zone with enough mph to go low 11's,just like a massive turbo supra.and i dont want that

we have come to the conclusion that a turbo between 61-66mm will be optimal and more then capable of pushing this car into the 11's

the ebay t3/t4 is enough to push the car for sure into the bottom of the 12's and acording to the gn guys 11.90's but its kind of iffy due to the lack of ci's

right now im leaning twards a gt35r ball bearing turbo with an t3 .84 or 1.00 housing which has a 61mm inducer

just for the hell of it i ran some numbers and come up with about 320rwhp which works out around 385hp at the motor, but this is still not tunned right

i should be able to push this closer to 350rwhp and 41x at the crank without turning up the boost with a lil more tunning
