                Yeah damn, I was hoping the auto would do better. I wonder if that high stall is eating power too much. My car is surprising the hell out of me in this hot weather, barking the tires when going WOT from 25mph roll when holding first, pulling on 3.8/5spd firebirds like mad, etc. I can only imagine how much improvement it would be with a 5spd.

                My time isn't even on there anymore... LOL oh well it was just a stock time but still decent. Maybe after this summer's mods are done I'll drive 6hrs to a track and get a slip. Unless I want to wait to piggy back megasquirt. Depends how well it runs when completed with the final bolt ons for this old 3100.

                    I just wrote a long responce and then hit the back button... i'm pissed....

                    Either way, I feel the converter is too high myself, I'm talking with Jeff right now to see if I can get something better... Either a FD or FJ, He said the FZ aka ~2300 would be too high for me because it could climb to over 3500 behind a built motor.

                    We'll see how things go, but I'm really thinking of changing the converter to see what it will do.

                        I usually will try the forward button when I do that. Just might still be there!
                        The auto sounds like it needs faster/firmer shifts to me. Still, great time and speed!

                          Those shifts are as fast as I can get with that converter... thats the sound of that slipping... main reason why I think I need a new converter. Also I have no control over the shift speed, since I'm still a 60e its not like the 65e's where I can varry pressure and shift speed in the ecm. I feel 1-2 shift quick/hard 2-3 is a little bit slower and soft so I may shim that one more when I do the converter swap, and also I might do some VB boost valves if I feel like going that far.

                                QUESTION, where did you get a 2150 stall converter? Whats the numbers on it?

                                Looked at your scan... HOLY CRAP... lean that thing out, you'll get better responce from it.. get it down to 880 O2's
