Pretty sure it looked like this but silver

      Google says it's an '03.
'93 Sunbird. 5spd, 3.1, it's fast. Oh, and 240k miles has proven lethal against Turbo Talons

I'm lurking occasionaly. It's tough because I'm usually too busy with the Army or my 5.0 Mustang. Which is for sale.

            i had to stop and thing...it must've been a 4cyl model.
            because a 93 sunbird 5spd runs low 9's hi 8's doing 0-60...

No it was a v6. Said on the back pretty sure. I dont think a 4-door 4-cyl accord would put up as much a fight as it did.
I swallowed up a 200hp Taurus today with myself, my Wife, my Brother, and my bro's g/f in the car. From a stop and from a roll it was no contest.

Sorry for the long response though. I just got back from my honeymoon

                thats okay...dude a 200hp taurus is nothing.
i think some people under estimate the power of the 3.1's/3100 (depending on which car it's in).

my friend though he could beat me with is 92 caprice...not!
                i was like not bad.
he was like i was doing good till you pulled off (slowly).

then this guy in a grand prix gtp 3.4dohc though he could outrun me....i beat his ass by 2 car legths...lol!

Whaaaat????? A caprice??? Which motor did it have? There were several for those years.. but either way those v8 Caprices are BALLSY!!!
And a 3.4 GTP you wasted?? What's done to your 3100?
But I totally agree.. people continually underestimate our 3.1/3100's.. it's a shame when my 240k American car rapes them shortly afterwords though

the caprice WAS a police/taxi...had over 100k miles (compared to my 170k)
                    it was'nt the lt1...it was a 92 regular 350 tbi set-up.
and according to motor trend of that year it does 0-60 in 9.6 seconds.

and the (94-95) gtp auto runs about 8 seconds (0-60).

all i have done is a TRUE cai (moved the iat closer, plan on makin' some sort of "ramair" set-up), running premuim (according to some people it's a waste), and a leaky exhaust.

whoa cool! Even the 350 TBI's are ballsy bastard. They move those 4500lb's quite nicely.
But I notice thru personal experience, that our 3.1s and 3100's get better gas mileage and performance with higher miles LOL.
Ram air would be a nice start.. premium works on SOME cars. It's never made a difference on any of my cars except my GTZ, SSEI, (both those cars needed it..), and my '91 GP. NONE of the other cars it made a difference. I dont think it makes a difference on my new Sunbird either, but I haven't done enough testing yet.
I raced a silver newer Lincoln yesterday with my buddy in the car. We harped it pretty bad. It wasn't a boat Lincoln either.. it was one of the nice ones.. the sporty ones? I couldn't read what it said when he was in front, and after the race he wasn't in front the rest of the trip lol.

EDIT: And I just had a Golf, the mid-high 90's style, w/ a cannon, try to outhandle me around a corner. But Pontiac Power didn't let that shit go down.

I got spanked at the track by a big-body lt1. He only had headers/exhaust and a CAI kit. He ran a low 14 and I ran a low 17 with my 3.1 iron head (stock).

dude those lt1's don't play around.
                          with header's/exhaust and a cai?!
                          oh man....

yea we was talking about it today, he was asking about my shift points and i told him she shifts at 6200rpm when in 1st.

he was like "maybe thats why...becuase mine's shifted at 5,000rpms".

but yea she needs some plugs...right now i'm trying to figure out her low rpm "random miss".....
