Buy a new radio off ebay... It'll cost you more to fix it than it will cost to just replace the whole thing.-Brad-

Light bulbs do not light up digital screens. Well, at least not in the sense you are thinking...-Brad-

yah mine did the same thing, there are 3 bulbs behind the screen, but the problem is they are on a circuit board, so you cant just unscrew and screw the new ones in. i had an extra deck, so i just swapped out the circuit board, a little more than the average person likes to do, but i never do things the easy way.

You need more than just know how to solder. I you need to know more then what color. You can't just drop in a LED color and expect it to work at that current draw and show that color chose at that current spec'ed and last more than a few days.
Removing the LED requires more advanced skill than assembly and different LED made by numerous companies have different current values. If a green LED appears yellow you are over driving it almost the same for red only it appears as a bright orange.Last edited by Juglenaut; 10-20-2006, 11:53 PM.I am back

oh please man, i justified myself when i put that last sentence. i dont need you to tell me if i am griping or not or whining, because u were the one that had to come and correct me with all the extra and if you come up with a witty comeback, it really wont matter because the discussion now is already off topic and i am sure that the other people on the forum, including the thread starter really doesnt care anymore
