  • Need More Power!!

i ve done a few bolt ons to my car... i have a 97 cutlass supreme sl 3100, underdrive pulley, ffp dogbones, coldair intake w/k&n filter, mallory 8.5wires, ac delco iridium plugs, 2.5 cat back, camaro style flow master with dual tips.. its running ok but feels like it still needs a kick... last car i took out was a 91buick regal gs w/ a 3800.. i still havent found headers for it, i rather find some than having to bore out my manifolds, any suggestions?

You will have to make the headers if you want them. You should to a 3500 top end swap on it. That would kick it in the ass real good. The easiest way to go about it right now are 3500 heads, 3500 lower intake, 3400 upper intake.

Excuse me? Why would you put on 3500 head and a lower but keep a 3400 upper?

THe fuel pressure regulator hits, so we are working on a fix but its not done yet. You also have to mess with vacuum lines and the DIS bracket mount won't line up to the 3500. Its a cleaner install for right now. Its easy enough to do the 3500 plenum swap later once the issues have been addressed. If you want to custom fab the TB and neck leading to the plenum, then use te 3500 plenum

Humm I thought only the fuel line hit and the shaved neck took care of that.

Not if you are using a complete 3500 top end. On the 3400 lower with the 3500 upper, the FPR hits just barely so it can be modified easy enough. The kit won't require any grinding for clearance though.
