about installing a shift light?

Hey Guys
I just found this new site called http://www.raptorperformance.com they have shift lights and I am just wondering about the hook up process because it haves a picture to show you how to setup it up but i dont get it about the 3 cylinder mode that haves (1.5 PPR) (6cyl w/dual coils) now would that be like the coils off of a 3400?
