anyone have exhaust idle vids / help plz

i need to compare someones cammed up n/a with mine
my idle seems very bumpedy bump and i really dont think its the cam lol

so if anyone could take some vids, put strip of cardboard near the axhaust and let it push the cardbaord, id like to examine someone elses exhaust
i want to hear it and see it

i dunno if i have a misfire or sommin ?

what cam are you using?

Post up a vid clip of yours, i should be able to tell if it's cam, bad injector or missfire...

im using comp cams 260h, with 1.6 roller fulcrums

me and wife were gonna pic up a cybershot 50 it hink it was
but were now waiting till xmas ... arg

would you be able to tell from just the sound clip
if so what would be a good app the grab a sound clip?
ill throw it on my puter and drag it out and get a clip as soon as i can

oh and btw i AM having troubles tuning, seems it just ALLWAYS runs rich at idle lol

.469 lift with a 260 advertised/110 LSA should have a little chop and a slight lope at idle... nothing drastic.

I have a vid clip of a 3400 with the milzy stage 2 but that's almost .100 higher lift. I'll post it later tonight though.


if you have a mic you can just use the standard windows sound recorder, i've done that with my laptop before.

the comp 260 is only a .440 lift @ 1.5 so .2933 @ cam x 1.6 is .469

oh my bad opps, i couldnt go anymore on the lift anyways unless i had custom pistons, they are allready flycut for the valve clearance
damn 2.8's, should have started with a 3.1...

well i have taken a sound clip, it was really windy out and it looked like it was starting to rain, and it did so i had to cut it short, and i didnt have time to properly adjust the mic,
its a headset combo, and i needed to put some wood blocks to adjsut it and its a wierd stereo mic, so the end has to be turned and stuff...
it sounds best when its right below the exahust tip and not in the flow
tomorrow ill adjsut it properly and get a better clip
but for now here is one

sorry for the wind lol, its pretty bad at times

@ about 1:50 it goes into closed loop
@ about 2:10 it gets choppy
then windy lol (turn down speakers)
@ 4:35 to end its not bad, but it started to rain so i cut it

this is with no cat and a stock muffler (eww) raspy
ill take a clip of my hooker aero when i put it on hehe

Sounds sweet!! I have the same cam in my engine, I had the un tunned 600cfm on in the video so it wasnt idleing propper with the 400 on it idols alot better(Ill have a new video soon!!) the video file is in my signiture..
