That feature has been in Mac OS X for years. Seriously.

Sorry, I had to go there. I am a Mac user*, formerly an Apple repair technician (still certified). Yet ironically, I'm posting this on my Windows XP MCE machine.

How do you get the windows to line up like that on a mac?

        I don't think so.

OMG, you so nailed me there!

The next version of the Mac OS will be shipping before Vista, maybe we will be able to - though I think lining them up is MS' way to make it a slightly less blatant Expose knockoff.

ohh pretty graphical windows, you know what windows vista is nothing but a dissapointment at this point. They have managed to dazzle the average user while killing WinFS, adding addational unneccassary locks on DRM and open driver fronts as well as still remaining an insecure OS by default. Yes I used Win, Linux and Mac OSX and so far I have yet to see anything in vista that impresses me.

oh and BTW some of the better features of both MacOSX and Win Vista come from NextStep and other older *nix systems.

Oh yes, I'm sure it will be totally worth it.

If it weren't for iTunes/AirTunes, I would gladly run Linux on my PC desktop. Isn't that something, the thing holding me back from using linux is Apple software... Otherwise, Ubuntu is awesome.

I use 'em all - My PowerBook G4 is #1, then I have a Windows MCE box (the MCE portion pretty much sucks), and an Ubuntu Linux box.

I have no interest in vista simply because it will have many more "big brother watching" options than any other Win OS so far. Frankly if I want to use my computer to play pirated music or movies thats MY business NOT mircosoft's. My $.02
