  • GA body parts?

I'm considering putting my 5th gen GA on a diet and loosing some of that weight in the front; anyone know where I can price either ABS, fiberglass or carbon fiber body parts (preferably fiberglass or carbon fiber - she's staying street) for a GA? I'm mostly interested in the front GT bumper and the front quarter panels right now (I know where to get a hood).

There's a guy called "sikminds" or something like that on grandamgt.com who had replaced most of his body parts with custom carbon-fibre ones. Trunk, hood, fenders, not sure what else.

id start with the hood if your looking to loose weight cause the grand am hoods are pretty damn heavy.

yeah, I think 75lbs+ or something like that.

I'd like to do the hood, front bumper and both front quarter panels to start, possibly also going plexiglass on the door and rear windows (as long as the super troopers don't find out ).

She will be painted afterwards - no frankenstein for me man . . . too ricer.

wow thats a heavy hood. when i first lifted it, going from my beretta. i was like what the hell is this made of. you could probably cut that in half with a fiberglass one.

between the hood, bumper and quarter panels on a GA - I figure close to 150lbs; poss closer to 300 if I can get rid of the factory windows also

It may be a little old, but sik composed a good portion of it himself.
