I believe the Saturn Vue is actually a Honda engine, totally different.

Well, I just looked at the numbers, and you are probably right... 2.8L turbo puts out 210hp/194ft-lbs, whereas the 3.6L puts out 255hp/252ft-lbs. I guess I never really looked at the number before.
There is no turbo 2.8L. If there was it better be making 300HP

Look at the LP9 on the first post. 2.8 with a turbo. 250hp. Only used by Saab and Opel as far as I know. The Caddy CTS LP1 2.8 is NA.

I wouldn't call it gutless. Just undersized for the application. It would probably rock in something that weighs more like 2800 lbs. Say, a Fiero.

All these engines and still NO EFFIN cams for them, crane or comp should pull there heads outa there asses and realize how much money there loosing by not having off the shelf cams for these engines, BTW it dosent liik like any of the truck engines are rwd config, i might be wrong tho.. Kuss if so i think i might juss have to bolt a 5 speed onto one and put that in a chevette/acadian.. LOL like 250hp and fuel econemy, YOU would never get me outa the thing, not to mention i know all the killer little trix for chevette suspensions

I personally wouldn't mind boring and stroking that 2.8L Turbo... then sticking it in something like a solstice... <drOOOOOL>

I read in a mag a while back where some group took a Solstice and shoved a high performance 350 sb in it. Don't remember the numbers from what it could run, but the driver called that car "Scary fast"

just found some pics on it:

although I don't think those are of the same car . . . supposedly the completed LS1 swap in a Solstice brings the car in about 400lbs lighter than a vette.

                          . . . I wish I was rich
