new lumina?

i see a dealer has a 99 LTZ w/111k listed at $4400. my question is, is it worth upgrading from my base version (engine-wise, mine has same features already except for 6 seats and no alloys). to an LTZ? a friend agreed to $3800 for my 3100 and hell if I can get a 3800 for 4-600 more it might be worth it.

Well, depends on how much you've replaced on your car. If youve done the alt, radiator, water pump, etc then those will last on your car, but if you get the other one, stuff like that might be ageing and needing replaced soon all over again.

That's how I look at it. Test drive it too the trans may be crap compared to yours. You never know.
