Any engine/tranny combos come like this?

Did any 2000+ car ever come with the 3400 and the 4T60-E?

I ask becuase it'd be fairly nice to give my car a fresh swap, but I don't wanna mess with having my current tranny rebuilt (it would need it) or mess with tryin to make a 4T45-E or whatever was in those Grand Am's work.

Pretty sure 4T60Es were discontinued in 99/00, so it would pretty much be MAYBE a 1 year deal if even done.

Well crap... what would it take to make the 45-E to work?

I'd go 65-e before 45-e.... Unless you want weight savings. I'd think the 65-e would have a better chance of bolting up and finding right axle lengths easier.
