Today i was taken a friend of mine home from college. Well i get to her house and her neighbor says me hey i have that same car in my back yard jokely. It got my curiousity up so i walked back there n this lady a 1989 Turbo Grand Prix in bad shape...just sittin there. So i walked over n asked her why it was sittin n she explain a list of wrong w/it so i offered to buy it...
well...problems w/it
Trans slips
Cross over pipe cracked
Front valence is just gone
Tires are shot.
And the car is greasy 120,000 miles

Ho much should i offer this lady for this car?

I mean figuring my 1992 GTP isnt worth much more than 2000$ in mint shape..whats a 1989 Turbo Grand Prix worth in bad shape?!

200 bux? - the stuff thats wrong with it is very expensive and a guy on w-body just sold one with alot less damage, non cracked crossover, and a rebuilt trans for $600

Well its no doubt i want one of these cars. If anything id use this car for a parts car...I was gonna give her 500$ ...But now im nto sure.

Well i live 5 mintues from the ocean , but none of my cars are rusty thank god. This turbo grand prix body is clean though. Ashame its acutally some what nicer than my 1992.

I dunno about anywhere else, but in Ontario they like to cover the road with salt. I was doing some thinking the other day and it made so much sence why the drivers side of the car gets killed by rust - cause on comming traffic splashes the shit all over the car. Bottem line.. next car (or paint job) I'm getting a power washer like the neighbors have!
