They are pretty damn sweet looking, and a 2 seater.. thats cool.

Call me old fashioned but I don't even like FWD, I like the engine in the FRONT, and the wheels spinning in the BACK. Mid engine just doesn't sit right with me.

boy, you ain't right... some of the best cars on the face of the earth are either mid or rear engined.

      Porsches
      Lamborghinis

        Fiero

I owned a 1986 Pontiac Fiero GT (fastback body style) with the 2.8 V-6, 5-speed stick, leather interior, power everything, performance sound, and good old manual steering. My first romance with a car, was with her. The Fiero only came with the 4 cylinder or the 2.8 V-6. No 3.1 was available stock. My best friend, at that time, had an 88 Chevy Cavi Z with the 3.1. He and I would be pretty much be neck and neck off the line, but I would take him midrange and top end everytime. That Cavi was fast. My Fiero was faster. The 2.8 in my car was modded out from that factory (stock). I had the most fun of any car, in that car. My fun cars now are an '04 Crossfire that I bought new, and a 99 Jag XJR that I picked up for a project car. The Jag is faster, but the Crossfire handles like it's on rails. Car and Driver stated that it's got one of the stiffest frames they've tested in years. It still doesn't corner like my good Fiero did though. Ah yes, the days of my 5.0 Stang eatin Fiero. Good times. BTW, if anyone knows where I can find an 86 to 88 fastback GT for a good price, please let me know.
