Do you have a 2nd O2 sensor? If not then it wont set a light. I don't have one.

I spoke too soon. I got a SES light, just the EGR code. No noticable running problems though.sigpicHow to make High performance Emissions:
A "true" High flow converter, straight pipe.
Low/No flow EGR valve, block off plate.
Carbon canister and purge valve mod, place in large 30 Gallon can, cover, and place curbside, the city will do the rest.
PCV valve and vent tube, reroute to exhaust to dump where it belongs, on the ground. Or add breathers and let it all free.

mine is the same, the MIL light will only come on for the EGR when decelerating more than 10-20 secs from a high rate of speed.Brian

I can't stand that SES light. Soo bright and annoying. At night it doesn't dim with the rest of the gauges. And I don't want to pull the bulb incase something else trips the light.
So I need an adapter... I'm going to try the o2 sensor socket on the egr nut on the manifold today to see if it fits. If it does that will be a god send. Extensions and a breaker bar and I'll be able to get it off and then weld and make my own adapter. If not, I'm not sure I'll have the leverage to use a wrench with my arm shoved down there...sigpic New 2010 project (click image)
