Ah ok that setup makes sense. I was having a hard time figuring out how you'd cool ambient air down without ice or something. That's a nice setup with the air scoop too. I wonder if one could put in a few peltier units with the cold side facing inwards the air box, large heatsinks on the hotside so they didn't fry. Those things will get super cold!!

Yeah, thats what a heat exchanger is. I have used peltiers on water cooled CPU setups and was thinking something like that could work for an intercooler as well as on top of the plenum.

Hmm yeah on top of the plenum wouldn't be a bad idea at all. It's aluminum so it would conduct very well. The bare (van) 3400 UIM has a nice flat top for one or more. Just got to worry about the amount of heat they would produce on the opposite side and how to get rid of it. Maybe a nice cowl on the hood, with some small ~120mm fans and heatsinks on the hot side of the pelitiers that sits on the plenum would be a cool setup!

Low/No flow EGR valve, block off plate.

PCV valve and vent tube, reroute to exhaust to dump where it belongs, on the ground. Or add breathers and let it all free.
