Yes, again. I was on this site several years ago. My computer crashed and I never got back. I found some old paperwork that had old "favorites" listed on it. This was one of them. I drive a 1998 S-10 pickup. I made a few minor mods to it. The 4.3 V6 runs great with only 70,000 miles on it. I also drive a 1986 Monte Carlo. This baby has only 35,000 miles on it. This car is in beautiful shape. My mother bought it new. I got it when she stopped driving a couple of years ago. My Monte is midnight blue w/ blue interior. It also has the 4.3 engine, but it is fuel injected. I haven't done any mods to it except putting on a dual exhaust setup and replaced the original Firestone 410's with Dunlop GT Qualifiers white raised letter tires. Looks sharp. I'll post pics when I have more time. There sure is alot of information on this site. It's a great place.

Nice! Montes are sweet. I've got an 86 Monte with a 4.3, blue interior, two tone dark blue over light blue exterior with that killer pimp gold pinstripe. Oh yeah and of course SLOTTED MAGS!If it\'s fun, it\'s probably illegal and if it\'s illegal I\'m probably doing it.

Welcome.
I had my share of these kinds of engines. I done alot of teardowns however only could afford to rebuild some of the different kinds engines in this configuration, however each style of engine has its good and bad and cost.Last edited by Juglenaut; 06-08-2006, 08:26 PM.I am back
