I was pretty disheartened with GM's current line-up but if these transmissions are used effectively I might reconsider staying with GM for my next car.

all i gotta say is the 6l80 and 6t70 are a joint effort of ford and gm. gm trannys arent the greatest and fords just realy suck. if these new transmissions are anything like gm's currect lineup, i can see some real expensive overhauls in the future.

Yea the 60E sucked, but its better now. The 40E is and was always awsome.
