  • Where the hell have I been?

    Cullowhere? Cullowhee!

Been finishing school. Finally walked across the stage today. B.S. in telecommunications engineering technology. Heading back to Lexington for a little break, then to continue job searching. Probably focus my job search in the Triad area of NC (Winston-Salem, Greensboro, High Point and surrounding areas) and the mountains (Asheville and the rest of WNC).

Good for you! Good areas to job hunt and nice countryside too. I would go there if I had no family ties here.

Awesome I was wondering how much you had left with school. Now its time to catch up on partying...or um...continue? I got a job for you. Set up something for a 60V6 meet:P Muhahaha! Doesn't pay well but you can put it on a resume if you like.

Hahaha! Let me find a job first, then get settled in somewhere. Then I'll look into setting up an E.TN. 60v6 meet.

My car gave me a rather unpleasant graduation present today... the passenger side inner CV joint shit itself. Good thing it happened in Winston-Salem instead of in Cullowhee... $75 tow bill versus somehow getting the car home from the hills (tow dolly behind an S-blazer for ~200 miles each way, several significant mountains)

Coulda been worse - pezed's '94 sunbird got wadded up when his gave way at speed.

I wonder which car is gonna last longer on the road, yours or mine. I think they are about even short of mine looking like a total beater and yours just has random parts go bad every year or less.

Sounds good if you wanna plan it Otherwise its gonna be another indiana meet. muhahahah!

Does Asheville even have computers yet?

I lived there back in 1996-1999...beautiful place...but some behind the times mentalities up in the hills!

                          Hah!

Actually, it's rather "connected" from what I've seen. The city of Asheville, anyway. Some of the small towns in WNC are too. Besides, as long as I have the usual utilities plus high speed internet access, I'm good.

Asheville may be more artsy-fartsy than when you were here. That's just what I've heard about it. Didn't go there much til I got to WCU in '04.
