My bro bought it. Im sure as hell glad I didn't. Most riced out game ever. WTF happened to the classic NFS with Ferrari's Vettes and Lambos?

Yea. I was made in BC, by Electronic Arts. EA is in Richmond and if anyone knows anything about richmond you know how many ricers are there. So no doubt this is a game made by rice for rice.

When you hit the "NOS" all the passing buildings get blurred and flame comes out the exhaust. Remind you of a certian movie?

Ya, my cousing got that game for PS2 for Xmas also... Its pretty fun because it lets you mod the cars and shit, but all the rice makes me gag. Its an exact replica of 2F2F! The surrounding environment gets all blurry when you "nos" it, flames out the tailpipes, and theres all these retarded jumps! I mean come on, a RACING game with JUMPS?! Oh ya, they did that in the opening scene of 2F2F... so it MUST be cool, right? Oh well. Ill admit, it is a fun game because of the racing, but almost any racing game entertains me. :P The best part is when you win a race and you can upgrade stuff... but WAIT! You can upgrade to LEVEL 2 VINYL!!! WHOOPTY FUCKING DOO! Ok, Ive said enough. If you want, buy the game cuz its fun. If you are anti everything rice... dont buy it.

I still think the best racing game so far is Destruction Derby 2 for PS1, that is if you've got a lot of road rage to let out

Tokyo Xtreme racer 2 for the DC was lots of fun, although pretty tough if you're used to gran turismo. it's tough to have more than 2 competitive cars, and every time you race a car the winnings go down. Definitely a must have if you own a DC though. Need for speed hot pursuit 2 if loads of fun too, it was their last game before the ricer game.

If you are looking for the good ol' days of Need for Speed, and have an Xbox, rent or pick up Project Gotham Racing 2. Just played it last night with a bunch of cars (seriously there are over 100 diff cars, all of them real and licensed) and it kicked ass.. it has very realistic driving physics, top speed, gearing, handling etc..

Only thing that sucks about it is that you'll never be able to drive a 5000hp school bus like you could in the PC version of NFS :P :P

NFS Underground is such an embarrassment to the series. I have NFS 4 and I think it's one of the greatest car games ever. I've managed to make a few of my own cars for the game

I want a good autobahn track... anyone remember the early "Deadly Outback" beta that was just a big triangle? Something shaped like that, a bit more scenic, a bit more sideroads, BARELY more turns and twists, and voila! Possible to hold 200+mph speeds for a significant portion of the track, slowing down occasionally for few tighter areas or interchanges.

Best Need for Speed series game I played is now discontinued.... Motor City Online. That game was great.... you didn't do stage 1, 2, 3 this and that... you bought a 350 block, 10.5:1 Pistons, this type rod, this type crank, this type head, this intake, that set of headers, this transmission.... only game I've EVER seen do it like real world is. MCO came after High Stakes, before the Underground. It was online only, and mainly 30's to 70's hot rods, muscle cars. In the last month they added a supra and an eclipse..... whoopty doo! lol
