I left the pricing there cause honestly, for that little of a profit margin most people wouldn't mess with it. I may or may not add them to the store but ill be making them an option on the heads for sure at the $150 price.

so what buisness do you think that guy is from???personaly sounds to me like he is either an idiot, or trying to steal buisness from ya (or both). of coarse your gonna mark them up, your running a buisness, and if you sell parts at cost, how do you make money??? the way i figure it out, thats only a 10% markup, and i cant even think of any buisness that doesnt mark anything up that low, usualy its way more. i know our shop has to marks stuff up at least 20%, as 10% gets sent to the franchise before you think about it. it amazes me how people expect to pay cost on stuff, and get pissed if you mark it up.

the general public makes my head hurt. thats why i work in the shop were i dont deal with them.

He is/was xtremesunfire on this site. Do a google search for his SN. Then, use the j-body.org info to look up his name in willshire ohio. Then you get his xtremesunfire name. Looked it up here and its a match. More was said between us but basically he has threatened to ruin my business and hack this site. He is in chicago right now according to his current IP address. I got his name and what he drives so I dont see how its in his best interest to hack this site. Thats illegal and I will let Joe, who hosts this site, deal with him legally.

20%markup is standard, 30% plus for speciality or rare items, so 10% is one hell of a deal. hell, i charge my FRIENDS a couple bucks when i pick up a part from the parts yard for them! lol

you should see my markups sometime, some days i make 30% some days i make 100%. i bought too many tiles for a job one time, since then i've used the leftovers 3 more times, each time the customer was charged for materials - pure profit.

Sounds like a doush, Hell I cant blame him trying to get info and the stuff of sorts for free (its worth a shot, more to gain then to loose), but there is a fine line there to know when to stop. One must know when to accept no is the answer. I honestly wouldnt have a problem paying an extra 15$ markup on them, because its your risk, your engergy, your time, and your research. Now if he was honest and said he wanted the info for his business I would have sold him the info. . . at a price of course :P

Now on a side note, do you have these valves in the store yet? We should be gettin the heads back from the machine shop today or tomarro, the lifters we ordered from the 60* store should be here soon, still neeed better springs and valves though

Not to offend, but why would I want to send you the file so you can sell them? I made the file so that we can sell them here at the site, not for everyone to start making them and selling them. Although I have made some of my CAD files public, there are some that I will not make public. This is one that will not be a public file. Sorry...

I've given it to one person, who is the person who is getting them made. But, I'll tell you what... I will give you a copy of the file for a price. Considering I get charged out at work for $85/hr (and I do mostly CAD work), and I've put between 4-5 hours into the drawing... Lets round down to 4 hrs to be nice.... Ok, you can have a copy for $340.

340 is way to much for a drawing sorry i will just buy a set and draw it on card board and do that way
