So i went to start my 02 Chevy Malibu the other morning and everything just went dead, battery had 12.8 volts on it but still wouldnt do anything, I hooked my friends battery to it directly and it started right up, I drove it 3 days and the next morning i went to start it up and same thing 12.9 volts but nothing the lights were on till i turned the key and than all of a sudden DEAD what can i do to fix the problem thank you

That or you could have an internal short in the battery. I just had this happen last week and it left me dead on the way to work. Luckily I got ahold of my dad and he sent his shuttle operator up with a new battery . Dropped her in and I was on my way.
