A lot of places around here will actually PAY you for your car... plus they come and pick it up for free... I dont know if they have that kind of thing where you are, but its worth a shot looking into.

We have the "Teen Challenge Farm" where they come and pick up your car, and you get money back from taxes somehow. Thats how we got rid of the T-bird and Jetta. I don't know what they do with the cars after.. I think they auction them off or something. I don't know if they would come and pick up PIECES of a car though :P

Thats what I did with my white '90 Cutlass. Donated it to "songsoflove.org" and it's considered a donation of book value of the car, they don't knock off value cause of the bad tranny neither. Not sure what % I get back though. Hope it's a LOT!
