  • Anyone Wanna Loan Me 1.7 Mil.?

The only safe place to drive this is The Salt Flats. 200 MPH in 14 seconds. Top speed of 253 MPH. http://www.rsportscars.com/eng/cars/bugatti_veyron.asp

    Not mentioned here:
4 Turbos at 15.7 lbs of boost each.
Wing goes to 55 degrees at speeds over 100. Providing 1100 lbs of downforce during braking..

    What a F.....g Machine! Too bad it's a 90 degree engine!

Hurry buyers! Only 50 to be made in 2006!

I've always loved the way that looked.

Top gear did a complete episode on it.

I believe it is 2 90*V8's at 15* angles to each other. Making a W16. Either way 90* is the only ways to make a perfect V8.

I think it is ugly. I still believe an LPE Corvette is the car to beat.

I don't think its really that ugly. I do like the cutaway engine drawing though...

Or more accurately, two 15 degree V8s at 90 degree angles to each other.

After all, wasn't the engine designed from the Volkswagen VR6 (15deg V6)?

Bingo. Was just gonna post that. Each bank has 15* of separation. The angle between banks should be 90*, I think. This engine is actually based off of the W8, more than the VR6.

In fact, based on displacement, that should just be two VW 4.0 W8 engines set 90* apart.

Just think, if you rear-ended one of these at a stoplight, your insurance company would hunt you down and kill you.

I've got one answear for all ya'll: Turbo Hayabusa, running 12lbs. 550HP. 0-125 in 5.8 sec, 0-180 in 7.6 sec. Top speed is north of 235. I have not been able to save the video, but the bike is gray, has Japanese type gagues, and that is where the vid is shot from, plus his buddy has a 'Busa on 6lbs of boost. There are several vids. If I can get them and post them, I will.
Don\'t hate me because I\'m horny.
