  • 30-108MPH test (not to impressive)+Exaust clip

Had this video on the comp for a while, gave me an excuse to try out the camera my girl got me. hope im doing this right, i used putfile.com so bear with me lol

To explain the clip, its just a dash shot of a 30mph-108mph roll (108 where the PCM cuts me from going any faster.

The only thing i dislike about the car is its TQ at lower RPMS the 1-2 shift is awsome but once it hits 2nd you can see that since the gearing is so far spaced out its almost like it hits a deadspot for a second...oh well here goes

This is the exaust clip, Just to let anyone who hasn't read what has been done before, its a flowmaster 50 series delta, and i removed the u-bend, replacing it with a simple straight piece of 2.5 inch piping.

Yea I know what you mean about the 1-2 shift. Its a real sore spot. My moms Grand Am was the same way. It shifted right at 70KPH and you were kinda boggin until 100KPH then it was back in the power band. You need a higher stall converter

If i knew where to get a performance minded stall converter for my 3100 4T60E tranny, believe me i would get one, with that and the DHP i plan to get, it would definately start to show more of its potential. Im determined to show people i can squeeze just as much power out of this motor as a 3800 N/A motor, seeing as how i raced some old fart in his 4 door GT in my SE and TQ'd it up, and he only pulled half a car from the start, but didn't get any further, and i stayed right at his door untill 90.....

You can use a GM converter with a higher stall. I don't know what vehicle its from off hand but I know it exists. Might be a thread in the trans section for it.
