So I've been sitting here for a long time working on a logo for the company that me and my brother are starting. First I designed some business cards and then I started working on the logo for the webpage. What a pain in the rear this all is! It's almost like I'm burned out for the night, but I really need to get something up and posted on the net. Anyone else feel this way when they are doing stuff like this? Any tips to get rid of this feeling???

LOL, I hear ya man. I am a techie and when I first got into the field I had to have at least two red bulls just to make it through my day. Yeah now 6 yrs later I am off caffeine almost completely on a diet and trying to drag my lazy ass to the gym. I though you were younger being a college student so figure I would be a bad influence

I'm actually out of college, but not by that much. I'm actually 22 years old. I just feel old since I've been married for three years, have one child and another on the way. For about 8 years or so, I would drink around 4-6 cups of coffee in the morning and then proceed to drink about a 6-pack+ of Mountain Dew or Coke throughout the day. I guess it all caught up to me! I ended up switching to decaf coffee and I'm trying to stop drinking soda all together.
One the bright side, I basically have the front page done on our site now. I just need to take it out of the "rough" stage and finalize it and then add all of our side pages. Hopefully I'll have it pretty well finished by the end of December.

I don't drink coffee or strong tea either, cause I can't take the caffeine (I won't get into that).. and I wouldn't drink coffee anyways cause I don't want to have prostate problems when I'm older anyways. I quit smoking 2 years ago might as well be as healthy as I can.

Well, it's really a basic site for a business that my brother and I are starting. Right now, I have it hosted through Geocities free sites, but I want to move it as soon as I can to something where I have my own domain name and none of the annoying pop ups.
I use Adobe Photoshop for all my graphic editing stuff. For actually designing the page, I use Dreamweaver MX. It's real easy to use and I can design without having to connect to the Internet.
It's very rough right now, but you can see the start of it at http://www.geocities.com/antlerplaques

nice clean look, you know any scripting or back end development languages? there are some good open source platforms that allow you to deploy and add content to a site very easily. And you provide a unfied look and feel through the use of CSS and and server side includes.
Makes things a lot easier to deal with.
