  • I feel so un-wise now.

Un-wise because I'm now less two wisdom teeth.

Just had the upper two yanked. Was actually pretty quick and painless. A few sticks of the needle, some tugging with the pliers, and pop! I really dread getting the lower two out, they're impacted and will require the services of the oral surgeon.

I hope i never have to get mine pulled. I had 8 teeth pulled (4 at a time) a long time ago and I hated it. I hate needles, pliers do not go in a mouth, and dumbasses can't make it all numb first so I feel it. Ugh. Good luck with the lowers, hopefully they just put you out or something

All 4 of mine were impacted. All yanked at the same time. I don't care if I'm called a pussy, but I wouldn't have had it done if they couldn't put me under.

I've had three out so far, one at a time with the last one coming out within a few months. The upper one's are the easiest to get through...the lower ones are what put you in pain for weeks straight. Those who get put under for the extractions are missing out on all the sounds, smells, and sensations involved.

But having them removed IS wise! They are useless due to evolution, as is the appendix. We no longer eat raw meat. Well, most of us don't.

My poor upper jaw is sore now, but at least they've mostly clotted up now...

I made the mistake of taking aspirin as my choice of pain reliever this evening since i couldn't find any tylenol (had a prescription for vicodin, but didn't bother since i was told i might not even need it).

I didn't even think of its blood thinning effects.

Tuning a car is full of compromises. You must decide if you are willing to give up either reliability, performance, or a whole load of cash. Also remember that repairs will seem to come up much more often as you strive for even more performance

I had all 4 of mine yanked out in October. Gave me a lil N20, 3 shots of valum, and the good ol' novacain. Even though they cut and broke the shit out of a couple of teeth to get them out I felt pretty damn good for about the 1st hour or so after leaving.

What sucked is, due to gravity, a piece of food (spaghetti-o or something) got caught in there, and it started healing over it. That hurt like a banshee! Caused the early followup appointment to get it flushed.
