Ben's (SLAPPYSE107.1 LITE FM) Tuning Prowess

If you are unsure who to go to get your 60 Degree Chevy/GM V6 Tuned there shouldn't be. Ben is the person you NEED to see. As he settles for nothing less than excellence. If your car is in shape he can tune it and make it pass Stringent Emmisions. My engine has high compression and radical cam and it passed State of New York emmisions standards which are the second most stringent in the country, we all know what the first is. NOW IF ITS GOOD ENOUGH FOR THE STATE of NEW YORK IT'S GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU!!! Power and superior drivabilty can be had through computer tuning and Ben knows how to do it for 60V6s from as far back as '85 to the TDCs of '97. You need computer tuning,confer with Ben. Sappyse107. He Is also dealing in Cylinder head/ intake work which has thoughly impressed me, PM him for details.

1 hour on the dyno Ben accomplished this on my altered 3400. Peak gains were 10 hp and 10 ft-lbs. Average gains were 24 hp and 16 ft-lbs. the machine didn't print the highest number as it was to be so I filled it in. We'er looking at 171hp@5950 and 185ft-lbs@2600.

You sound like a used car salesman:P thanks though Should point out that I did the tuning from a stock chip to get it to run and work well on the street. Dyno tuning accomplished the rest, and that was with just 1 hours worth of tuning. More could be had but that was the best bang for the buck. exoticperformanceplus.com is the dyno facility I use and they are excellent people to work with.

Dyno sheet 7 was a test to lean it out some more up top but that was too much and the power dropped back off. Sheet 6 is the final. Peak is nice but the powerband average improvement was what you can definetly feel off the dyno.

Well I'm a NEW EGG kinda car salesman!!! Oh one last thing that tuning defiantely provides is stellar fuel economy! My engine averaged on the plains 33 mpg. The 3500 manifold is definately more fuel efficient as well!

How much do you usually charge for all of this Ben?

I charge 125 for my chip. Then, if you want custom street tuning I charge anywhere from 50-150 to get it running good for normal driving and such. Dyno tuning, just 50 bucks plus the dyno time unless you want like 4 hours of tuning, then id charge some more:P I dont charge 50 an hour on the dyno unless you only want 1 hour of tuning.
