Heading south to see a "southern belle" with a fiberglas body(not really 'glas) in Georgia. Post pics later this week.

Also if anyone needs anything from a '00 C5 let me know as I'll stuff available this weekend, aside from drive train and electrical.

Took two days to pick it up and a little over two to strip it. I have a few suspension components to replace and wiring harness to mend and then the frame will be lifted off the rolling chasis.

What ever works for transportation.

How about some carnage photos? Jim cut out the airbags with a knife, but I did not take a pic. He was removing the rear left fender liner and found some masonary that I know was not used as sound deadening.

There is a few more pieves still in there. The right rear wheel was bent as you can see in one of the previous photos. In this batch is a picture of the broken hub. Another pic shows a rock that has gone half way through the floor.

Mostly Beretta content - Beretta interior door to C5 conversion.

Monster hole!

I finish putting the window weather stripping in and decided to work on the door inards. Originally I was going to keep the stock interior door open lever and rework the C5 inner door skin. Things turn out differnet when their in your hands.

I took the stock door lever and striker off. It should match up fine with the stock C5 stuff since the stock stuff is longer and I'll just cut and rebend to the right length. This will allow me to put the C5 interior opening lever basically where I want, a little short of the stock stuff to accomodate the interior C5 skin without reworking it. The striker and catch will require some adjusting to make work. Even the exterior door handle pushrod from the C5 will work the C5 door latch. This will all be run through the stock C5 wiring.

2000 and up C5s don't have key cylinders on the passenger's side....either will mine. Might keep it there as a dummy.

The keyless entry unlocks the doors.
