one on the left is a 16G turbo. on the right is a 60-1/Stage V/.82 AR
the comp housing is all polished up now too

Hopefully that turbo will help me reach my 600hp (to the ground, awd) goal. If not, i'll have to go bigger.

Hey Mac, what do you think of a FWD DSM owner with a 16G running 25 psi?? I try to tell the kid that it's way too high, but he has the "more is better" mentality. I'm not a 4G63 fan, but that's mostly due to the fact that I'll never own a car with a timing belt. I'm pretty heavy into SR20s...I helped my friends swap one into his '91 Sentra SE-R. He runs a 13.6 on 8 psi, with the stock T-25.

well it depends. did he just slap the turbo on his car and crank up the boost? or did he do all the supporting mods. If he's done the mods to support it, fuel injectors, fuel pump, pressure regulator, 3" exhaust, etc, and a nice front mount wouldn't hurt either. Then he should be allright, as long as the engine was in good condition before he started.

The timing belt isn't a big a problem as people make it out to be. Remove the balance shaft/belt, and replace the timing belt every 60 thousand miles and you should never have a problem with it.

SR20DET's are good engines. I'd love to build up one for a 280/Silvia conversion (SILEIGHTY).

my 1G talon, daily driver/winter beater runs 12.46

                    whats your setup mac?

ahhh, I see. I couldnt understand what a DSM owner was doing here... Most of my friends are big into DSMs. I know a bit about them, but most importantly is that they HAUL ASS! (and break all the time :P )

they only break all the time if you abuse them and don't do regular preventitive maintenance. Much like any other high hp car.

No, DSMs break all the time (when pushed). Preventative maintenance only goes so far. You obviously don't mod a car that you don't intend to push hard.
