We had words before, though his attitude and wording were offensive, they had some truth to them. I still don't believe "hack" is the word I would use to describe the work I have done previous to using my flowbench. I would reserve the word hack to my work when I was first starting out in my apartment with a dremel tool, hogging out random areas.
I know now that theory doesn't cut it. I mean, it does, its definetly better than uneducated removal of metal and will yield some damn good results. However, there are some areas on the intake and exhaust ports, and even the combustion chambers that I thought for sure were better off gone or modified. As much as I would love to share specifics, its not happening as there is no way I am going to help my competition.
So, galen, if for whatever odd reason you still visit this board (i think you signed up just to attack me though, but whatever)...you were right, at least more than I gave you credit for. There is still more to performance than flow numbers, of which I am still learning and also applying to my work.
