Yup, seen that. May have posted here as well though I know he is on a few other boards. He is going with twin 3800s eventually.

Ok, I'd like to see pics.....

But from what I read there, adding a second engine to run only a 13.8?

Should have spent way less time, probably less money and turbocharged the 3100, would run the same or quicker.

he cam to the yearly MyMonte meet, regaurdless of the engines used I was quite impressed with the setup myself, alot of work and not to shabby, the entire car including roll cage came in at $2000 granted the guy is an ASE master tech and his co-hort is a pretty good wrench himself.

Hes prob one of the smartest rednecks ive met

heres some pics from that meet:

yeah it was a horribly hot day and everyone was running like ass, that was thier first time at the track as well, i would say the car does better than that. I think for them its not so much the speed as the uniqueness of the project.

Just think if that had twin 3.4DOHC engines. Did they just put the front chassis from the other olds on the rear of that one and then cover it up with the body? That is still freakin awesome. It has got to sound weird.

its a custom rear cradle IIRC. both engines can start and run independantly of the other. and you can drive with either or both. 1 fuel cell, 1 massive fuel pump speced for pro-street applications.
