i don't see Manitcor prancing around anywhere. when it comes to anything that has to do with computers, he's the man. he may not be able to perfectly diagnose problems or do head gaskets himself yet, but he's still learning. i didn't know shit about my car before March of 02 when i started working on it. now i can literally tear down 3800's in the dark. this is a learning procedure, you're not born with the ability to be a perfect mechanic right off the bat. why is it that every time someone wants gets on here trying to help you guys or maybe use some of the knowledge base you guys have built up to help out our site, that they get jumped on by everybody and their brother. he welcomed you guys to the site in a gesture of good will and respect, and seems like a lot of you are just throwing that back in his face. look if you don't like MM, cool, you don't HAVE to join. do whatever you want to do. if you want to join, join. if you don't b/c you're busy or whatever, fine, no biggie, but you don't need to go insulting a website that Manitcor and a lot of other people have put a lot of time and effort into.

Hey Manitcor is alright... hes not trying to be a "big shot" or anything and from what I've read on his posts he is honest and helpfull. Its very true about people not being "perfect mechanics". Hell, when I was 16 all I could do was change a tire and check the fluids (at least the ones that I knew at the time ).. now I'm getting near 21 and have done a ton of work on my car.. because its mine, its old, and shit breaks. While I haven't cracked open my engine yet, I have done lots of other stuff to where I know what most of you guys are talking about most of the time (unless it gets down to cam specs or something like that).. but I know all the engine basics and how the car works. Thats kinda the problem with joining this site.. if you are not really into the engines then you don't have alot of new knowledge to contribute. I can help out people that have had the same problems that I've dealt with though. Also we all have our special interests with specific areas of a car.. whether it be mainly working on engines, or doing bodywork and painting.
