I post over on MM, but mainly just to correct mistakes of some of the people over there. And to piss off Germ...

I stayed out of this thread because I didn't feel like I needed to comment on another site. Any comments I have, I post on the site in reference. And yes, I have been known (on several occasions) to basically call people out that they are dumb on other forums. And I'm sure I will do it again. That's just the way I am.

As far as closing this thread goes... I don't think it needs it just yet. I just want to know, why did you come over here? From what I've seen, all you have done so far is add to the off-topic crap. If you want to do that, stay on the other forums. We TRY to keep this site as mature as possible (although I'm sure you don't think so), and threads like this just show how immature other sites actually are.

This site is for people who are serious about increasing the performance of their engine. This site is non-car specific so as to get knowledge from all types of individuals, not just people who own a specific car. There are people on car-specific sites who think they know it all when it comes to these engines, and then they find out that they are only scratching the surface compared to the knowledge base here. And why is that?

I dunno... right now I feel like locking the entire off-topic area because of all the STUPID shit that is currently active. I would rather have 1000 good posts about in-depth engine info than 6000 posts about worthless crap that has no place here. If you want to play internet word games or discuss the latest rice boy talk, keep it on your "own" forums. Its not something I want to have to sort through when trying to find relevant information.

And yeah, I know... none of that really blended well together, and most probably makes no sense to be in this thread, but I felt I had to get it off my chest.

You have no clue how to run a msg board. Especially with your "barney fife" attitude. You cant have Nazi-istic, dictator-prone moderators instilling their will upon the public. Moderators arent there to shut down every post because it is a little bad.

Son, I was running msg boards before you were even old enough to stay up past 7 o'clock on a school night and If I remeber correctly you were kicked from the mod position for doing the very thing you are blaming the MM mods for doing.

Our mods are not nazistic even though buck likes that under his title. We work very hard at being fair and obejctive when moderating posts and have clearly defined rules to follow that are structed around allowing everyone to speak how they feel in a civil manner. Personal agendas are not pressed by our moderators unlike some other boards. If I ever saw one of my mods pushing a personal agenda they would loose thier positon very quickly. Which is exactly why you lost your spot Ty.

As a note we have never banned anyone, not even you, your still able to access MM and welcome to post there, it was your choice to leave so stop crying like we threw you out. Grow up.

Of course MM is not my board in the sence of the community MM exisits for its members, but I am responsible for that community and I take it as a personal responbility to make the board a success.

And as a note to the fall of MyMonte, in the past year we have grown by almost 1200 members and in November alone we saw our biggest growth of 125 members.

I am currently in negoations with GM for logo rights and to become a nationally accredited car club with card carrying members and regional memberships. We are working with sponsors to bring many things to MM in the next year. I'm afarid I dont see MM going anywhere as long as there are people dedicated to its success.

i came over here to learn what i could from you guys! i am not very knowledgable yet about my engine and MM wasnt helping that much. the only reason i posted this and the other thread was because i wanted to invite other monte owners over to our site and the other thread kind of loosens things up on these boards and helps to get to know eachother. so far have heard alot of negative from you guys about MM and thats ok. you are all entitled to your opinions. but when 00noma posted what he did he really set me off . your site has been very helpful so far as has MM, you guys seem to know more about the mechanical side of things, and MM is good with apearance. i think i will stick around here for awhile and just learn what i can. and share what i know, even though thats not much. and 00noma

I highly doubt you'll see the downfall of MM, Manitcor, Milzy, Buck, and alot of other guys know alot about the w-bodies and I couldnt have done have the mods i did to my car without their help

I was THE man on MM.......hell, I was MM for about 6 months.

That changed when a couple people became little bitches, now I'm not gonna "manitcor" name "skippy" names "ern" here, but there "buck" were a couple "milzy" people "khemetaz" that just couldnt handle someone pointing out their blundering, idiotic mistakes.
