  • Injector flow rates, got any injectors lying around?

    So if you have an injector lying around that I dont have, and wanna send it in, ill pay for the service. Of course, ill take donations on this cause as well since its for everyone's information. I have a brand new 95 DOHC injector, and a 91 injector that is old and MAY need to be cleaned first before we know its accurate flow rate. Same goes with a 2000 3100 injector that I have. Ive been told the 3400 injectors are the same so if anyone has the numbers on the side of a 3400 multec 2 injector, let me know. I need 3100 multec 1 and 3400 multec 1 as well. TBI injectors, need those as well.

    If anyone has a datasheet from witchhunter or another place, with the rating at 43.5 PSI, let me know. I want to make sure our list is 100% accurate and comparable between each injector.

    Cost is $15 each to be cleaned and flowed, and I believe $5 to just have it flowed (i need new injectors to get away without the cleaning process first).

    RE: Injector flow rates, got any injectors lying around?

    Here is Marty's sheet from Witchhunter for the injectors out of my 01 3400. Not sure if that would be Multec 1 or 2, but I'm thinking 2...

      it would be 2. Cool, ill compare with the 3100 multec 2 then. Need a sheet though:P

        hi, i have this info sitting on my puter, cant remember where i got it from
        it isnt complete but offeres a bit of info

        id love to know for sure what kind of injectors i have now(lbs/hr) from a 96ish 3100 topend, roller rocker heads, green band injectors, so i can input that info correctly into my code before i actually start running the car

        anyways heres some info

        Conversion From cc/min to lbs./hour to HP
        500cc?s per minute is approximately equal to 49lbs per hour which is equal to approximately 100 HP.
        Common conversions:
        Lbs./hour = cc per minute / 10.2
        Lbs. per hour = HP / 2.04
        cc per minute = lbs./hour x 10.2
        cc per minute = HP x 5
        HP = cc per minute / 5
        HP = lbs. per hour x 2.04

        The flow rate is gm/sec and lb./hr in parenthesis. The resistance is obvious. The manufacturer is next, I think ND is Nippondeso (sp?), I can't place DKK. The part number is constructed as follows. All injectors carry a basic part number 9F593, which is prefixed with a production release, and followed by a revision/application code. For example E3EE-BA from the table will be E3EE-9F593-BA to your local dealer. The tops of the injectors are color coded, as a quick check to the technician to make sure an engine contains the "same" injectors. I included some sample applications that may help the dealer if you are buying new, or yourself if scrounging in a junkyard
        . I don't know what was used for the density of the fuel. I typically use0.79 (rounded up to 0.8 for "quickie" calculations), and I have seen John use 0.775 for "racing" fuel.

          I dug out my flowsheet from WitchHunter for my 2000MY 3400 Multec 2 injectors (part # 25322180) -

          At 43.5 psi, after cleaning, all my injectors flow between 197 and 200 cc's/min.

              RWD iron head minivans I think, and some trucks. Don't know the years exactly.

              My 3100 multec 2 is 25323971, so they are different than the 3400 injectors. That or they redesigned something.

                My '01 3400 injectors from Brad are the same 25322180 part number as mfuller's 2000's, and they flowed the same (~200cc/min).

                Don't know if you have seen this, but Witchhunter's site has flow ratings for a lot of injectors:
                http://www.witchhunter.com/injectordata1.htm It shows the 25323971 3100 injectors flow 200cc/min also.

                  Saw that but didnt look up the 3100injectors. Cool, i wont have to flow it then I can go ahead and sell these suckers on ebay! w00t:P

                  I looked up my DOHC injectors though and they dont list those yet. I want a complete 60V6 fuel injector page on this site. Then any injectors that we use in the motors would be cool too.
