Wouldn't the world be boring with Acura "sleepers"? What I do hate are those GHEY tuner shows on TV that have bimbos talking about carbon fibre hoods and Sparco racing seats. I don't mind watching a show about cars, ANY kind of cars, but for Jeebus sake talk about engine and performance! Thats why I like Hot Rod TV and the shows with the old cars, cause sometimes you learn something. My favorite show is "Trucks" even though I don't really care about trucks. I just find it cool when the guy puts nos, propane injection, and reprograms the computer to get a shitload of power out of a diesel truck!

he says "who cares about torque! it's all about HP!" and than the worlds biggest dumbass chimes in "i dont need torque my eclipse is AWD!" i have never laughed as hard as i did that night.

Another L-body here... '91 Corsica V6. I used to hang out on "a different board" (some here will recognize me and shudder... don't worry, this is a different domain, I can keep my mouth shut...) but it just got overrun with off-topic and inane posts, so I'm going to start lurking here a lot more I'll probably start posting a little when I get my X-11 this summer. Have to get rid of one of my Tbirds first... anyone want an '83 Tbird?

Hey Josh... I remember you. And if I remember correctly, that X-11 was supposed to be mine a couple of years back, but the previous owner decided to keep it for a little while longer...

bszopi, man, if you still want it, you can have it come next Fall. When we were first deciding if we were going to do the rebuild or not, Chaelim had another Citation as his primary transportation, but the motor blew up in it and the X-11 became the primary car. He's still driving it, but he's planning on going into the Air Force next Fall and I promised him I'd buy it off him or at least get someone to give it a good home. I was thinking about putting a 3.1 in it along with some interior upgrades (don't tell the Citation guys, but the Citation interiors are a little chintzy

Anyway, it's in decent running shape, reliable car at least, you can probably pick it up for under a grand when the time comes. You know how to get ahold of me now, feel free to stalk me and keep up the reminders/questions until it's ready to sell If you REALLY want it now, he'd probably part with it and the entire lot of parts ('80 parts car) for 2 grand or so.

                  Pics here:

Used to have a '85 and I liked it .. slow and shitty but had a nice ride and beautiful car (sentimental thing). What engine and how much? I'll first tell you that I'm not going all that way to pick it up, just so you know

Ah.. comeon... fresh EFI 5.0 w/ 4-speed auto, it's a Heritage edition, nearly loaded, recent (crappy job, body's rough, but no rust,) black paint, decent rims and tires, super-comfy... lest I further hijack this thread and get myself disliked in the first 2 days of registration, email me if you want to know more (sorry if this sounds like the hard sell... I don't expect you to really buy it
