  • buying advice. hook me up

going to the super chevy show tomorrow and the swap meets there are pretty impressive.

i may be looking for the following parts if the price is right.

can i get some of your input on the best price for the following stuff.

NOS(as in nitrous oxide systems) direct port kit. v6 or v8 with block, nozzles, a few lines and soem solenoids. good price? basically everything but the long line and the bottle/accesories.

same for a nos nos-zle wet kit.

    purge kit(any brand)

n20 guage? the one that screws into the bottle.

electric sender/guage for fuel pressure and n20 pressure

msd dis4 box old style? new style? and ho?

don't pay more than 1/2 of what stuff costs new if you are buying used at a swap meet.

also if you see uncracked but dirty small block aftermarket intakes for $10 buy them all and blast them and re-sell on ebay to pay for all you bought. i used to make a living doing stuff like that.

well got some of what i was looking for. absolutely no fuel injection stuff.

i got a new in package bottle heater for 65, a NIP guage to screw into the bottle for 15, a used in-line pressure guage with swivel adapter and for 15.

i got some contact info b/c i was eyeballing that guy's progressive controller.

but all i have left is 2 electric senders, a direct port setup, a purge kit, and a dis4 box. oh well no big deal for now.
except for that dis4 box .

pat, what show/swap meet would you recommend i go to, to get some efi parts?

it's hard to find any EFI parts at swap meets. i've been to all the big ohio ones, lots of the big PA ones. lots and lots of carbs.
