  • Classifieds?

Has anyone actually sold or bought anything through the Classifieds? I'm thinking about getting rid of it cause I just don't see it really getting much action. I see more stuff in the Buy/Sell/Trade everyday than I think gets put in the classifieds in a month.

Vote on your opinion in the poll.

i've asked a few questions to people selling stuff, but usually all the action is right in by buy/sell/trade section. That's where i've sold/bought my stuff!

I say get rid of it because, if for nothing else, there is WAY too much abuse there. I mean, you see a small pic on the left of your screen and the price says free or $1 and when you go to the ad the ACTUAL cost is like $1,700.00. Total bullshit IMO.
Tuning a car is full of compromises. You must decide if you are willing to give up either reliability, performance, or a whole load of cash. Also remember that repairs will seem to come up much more often as you strive for even more performance

Never had any use for it myself. Save some webspace.

Or do a half hour info-mercial about placing tiny little ads.... :P

I actually put my sister's Cutlass in there and got a few responses, but I ended up selling the car locally before anything materialized. Other than that, I've listed a few small items and nothing sold. It isn't a terrible idea, maybe if there's a link to it in the FS section it'd get viewed more?

better watch out with that one

I tried to give my dog to a good home along with supplies and such and asked for a 50 donation, and man would'nt you know I had every man hating dyke on the west coast blowing smoke up my ass. God forbid if I try to get my dog more attention then I could give her having my son and my nephew at the time and my other dog along with 5 cats. I just thought she would get better attention from some one who did'nt already have his hands full. Man those lezzies were pissed. the next week I put an ad trying to sell my son and nephew as a joke. where were the carpet munchers on that one? I did'nt get one piece of hate email.

back to thwe subject I never knew we had a classified section apart from the buy/sell/trade forum
I wish 10% of the people on the road knew how to drive
