  • Gas Poll!

AOL does it all the time, so, in light of recent events, I'll ask this question.

How have gas prices changed your driving habits? Since we are an automobile based forum, the choices will be a little different. This does include going to work.

    RE: Gas Poll!

I still drop the hammer, It's my job the package has to get there.
I wish 10% of the people on the road knew how to drive

      RE: Gas Poll!

Its not changing my driving habits abit. But now its costing me $25 to fill the Sea Doo up and close to $20 to fill the outboard up. Add in four wheeler, dirt bikes, lawn mowers, chainsaw and weed trimmer gas and Ill for sure start thinking about cutting back on the yard work!

I drive slow now because of gas prices, and since I get rear ended, my exhaust is now 8 inches into the car...

i rarely get on it. once in a while i used to play with the caddy and get up to the speed limit as quickly as possible, but not anymore.

my daily truck gets 9.5mpg therefore i'm always easy on it and it never sees 3k rpm. big block + huge truck = be as easy on it as possible. $100 fill-ups suck, i want to go as long as possible in between them.

I drive slow and down graded to a gas sniffer (currently) 94 cavalier, basic, no options, just turn the key and go.

Econ mods are in the works.
